Meeting Agenda

Meeting Date: March 14, 2026

Please enter the shop through the door at the rear of the building. All of the doors on the Broadway side of the building are kept locked.

8:30 – 9:15 am: Set up A/V equipment and refreshments for the meeting

9:15 am: Doors open for coffee and donuts; come socialize with your fellow woodworkers.

10:00 am: Meeting starts

On-street parking meters (coins only) are enforced on Broadway in the block directly in front of Back Channel School of Woodworking; we’ve been told that the meter reader only comes by once in mid-to-late morning. If you want to park for free on Broadway, there is plenty of parking in the next block where you see all of the houses, as well as on adjacent side streets; basically, if you don’t see a parking meter, it’s free. There is also a free, large, paved and lighted parking lot behind the shop.  You may park in numbered spots, but please don’t park in spots marked “Reserved.”

One of the best parts of woodworking is the ingenuity we use to get the job done safely and accurately. For our March meeting, we are asking members to bring in a jig or fixture—preferably shop-made—that helps you in some aspect of your craft.

While we encourage you to bring something new that the group hasn’t seen before, don’t let that stop you if you have an “old reliable” that is simply too good not to share. We have plenty of new members who haven’t seen these solutions yet, and even for the veterans, a good refresher can be a lifesaver. Members who bring in something to present will be eligible to win one of three Rockler $25 gift certificates that our local Rockler store has generously donated to us for this occasion; we sincerely thank store manager Vince Fricke for his continued support of our club (you might want to thank him yourself the next time that you’re in the store).

If you would prefer to bring something new but can’t quite recall your previous contributions, you can search for your past presentations in our archived videos listed below. These topics likely had the most overlap with our upcoming theme:

Table Saw Accessories ( Nov 2023)

Favorite Things (Nov 2022)

Vise Advice (Oct 2021)

Tips and Tricks (Dec 2016)
