Save the Date! The 2015 Western Pennsylvania Woodworkers picnic will be August 8, 2015 at the Mars Area History & Landmark Society, 1 Brickyard Road, Mars, PA 16046, 724-272-9588. Al says the building is behind the red caboose in Mars.
A gentleman who operated oil wells for many decades will speak on the history of oil wells and his experiences. In addition, weather permitting, we hope to be able to ride the Mars Shortline Railroad, the small scale railroad layout on the Society property.
As always, we will also have great food and fellowship!
